Sihwa Lake Tidal Power Station
254 MW barrage plant, the largest tidal power station in the world.

Completed in 2011 using a seawall built for flood defense in 1994. Ten submerged bulb turbines generate on the flood tide as water enters the lake. Water circulation improvements helped restore a polluted reservoir.
