Futtsu Power Station
About 5,000 MW of combined cycle blocks on Tokyo Bay, among the largest gas sites anywhere.
Overview
TEPCO built the site in stages from 1985, with modern combined cycle additions through 2020. LNG tankers berth beside the station. After Fukushima shut nuclear, Futtsu became one of the most critical plants in the Tokyo grid.
