Topaz Solar Farm
550 MW thin film photovoltaic farm on the Carrizo Plain in California.
Overview
Completed in 2014 with about nine million First Solar cadmium telluride panels, it was among the largest solar farms in the world at the time. Built on former grazing land in San Luis Obispo County, it sells its output to Pacific Gas and Electric.
