Qinshan
Multi phase complex totaling about 6,600 MW, home of the first Chinese designed reactor.
Overview
Phase one, a 300 MW indigenous PWR, grid connected in 1991. Later phases added CANDU units and 650 MW Chinese designs through the 2000s and 2010s. Qinshan trained the workforce behind the later Chinese reactor buildout.
