Overview
Commissioned 2013 to 2014 with eighteen 770 MW turbines, Xiluodu was briefly the third largest power station worldwide. Its double curvature arch reaches 285.5 m. Sediment control and flood attenuation for the Yangtze basin are secondary missions alongside power generation.
